DMConnect is allows you to scan and email (or save) documents directly into various formats include Microsoft Word and Excel. AMHA staff can use the larger TASKalfa copiers at Central Office, Recertifications, and Summit Lake.

 

1. Scan your badge to login to the TASKalfa.

 

2. Select DMConnect from the Control Panel.

3. Select an Email or Save option from the available formats. Emailed documents will be sent directly to you as an attachment. All saved documents will be stored in the Scans (S:\Scans\) folder on the shared drive under your username. 

  • Email as Excel - A separate Excel sheet tab will be created for each page of your scan.
  • Email as PDF
  • Email as Searchable PDF - All text in the PDF can be searched or selected.
  • Email as TIFF
  • Email as Word - Your scanned document will be converted to an editable Word document and emailed as an attachment.
  • Save as Excel
  • Save as PDF
  • Save as Searchable PDF
  • Save as TIFF
  • Save as Word

4. Enter a Filename.


5. If your scans are double sided, Select Settings and change the Duplex Option to 2-sided.


6. When finished, Select the Scan button to begin your scan.
