Before proceeding, ensure your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- From the home screen, tap Settings.
- Scroll to and tap Phone.
- Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
- Tap the Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone switch to toggle it to the ON
- Tap Enable.
- For 911 purposes, location information for the Wi-Fi network is required. Enter the Street number, Street name, City, State and Zip code. When finished, tap Next.
- Wi-Fi Calling is now set up. The device will automatically switch to Wi-Fi Calling mode when it is connected to the Wi-Fi network. Note: Once Wi-Fi Calling is enabled on the iPhone, it may be used for any Wi-Fi network the device is connected to.
To ensure 9-1-1 accuracy, update the location information every time you switch to a different Wi-Fi network.
